Venue notes & known gaps
24 venues added Jul 28 — 44 tracked. Zinc Bar · Five Spot Jazz (231 E 9th St, Manhattan) · Groove · Cafe Wha? · Red Pavilion (1241 Flushing Ave) · Culture Lab LIC · Amant · Park Ave Armory · The Lot Radio · Elsewhere · The Sultan Room · TV Eye · Purgatory · Jupiter Disco · Littlefield · Cassette (68-38 Forest Ave, Ridgewood, Queens) · C'mon Everybody · Young Ethel's · Friends & Lovers · Berlin · Wonderville · Double · pinkFROG cafe · 360 Record Shop (Red Hook). They join Bar Bayeux, Bar LunÀtico, Public Records and Reforesters Laboratory, added a few days earlier.

How to read the prices. Purgatory, Berlin, Cassette, C'mon Everybody and Public Records prices are DICE or TicketWeb all-in totals with fees already included, not door prices. Jupiter Disco publishes no price on any of its listings — it is widely described as free entry, but that is not asserted here. Young Ethel's rows rest on the venue's blanket "free shows and events every day" claim rather than per-event confirmation. Reforesters comes from Resident Advisor, which publishes no price at all; nothing has been estimated to fill that gap. Smalls, Mezzrow and Jazzcultural quote two prices — advance ticket and cheaper walk-in — and both are shown. Bar Bayeux is no cover with a one-drink minimum; Bar LunÀtico asks a $10 suggested donation in cash most nights. Lowlands publishes no cover at all. Prices are whatever the venue or checkout page published at refresh time — always confirm at the door.

Genre tags. Every listing carries one of six genres, picked from the billing rather than blanket-applied per venue, so a DJ night at a jazz club files under Electronic. Where the billing was uninformative, the venue's usual programming was used.

Where the window runs short. Cassette shows 26 of 27 rows as Time TBA because DICE is its only published source. The Lot Radio publishes the current day only. pinkFROG publishes through Aug 2. Littlefield is mostly comedy and podcasts — only its music nights are listed. The Jazz Gallery and Village Vanguard publish through Aug 18, Ornithology and Roulette through Aug 20, Lowlands through Aug 11, and 92NY goes dark after Jul 31 for the summer. Barbès rows marked ⟳ are projected from the venue's own standing residencies, not confirmed bookings — Barbès posts a new calendar at the turn of each month. Close Up runs a late set most nights, typically 10:30 or 11:30 PM. Roulette is dark most of the window — Aug 20 is the one show. Nublu weekly residencies are marked where a date isn't individually confirmed. "Jazzcultural" is Spike Wilner's club at 349 W 46th St (Restaurant Row) — main shows 7 & 9 PM plus free Barry Harris Institute Tuesdays and daily cafe jams. The Pocket (130 W 46th St) is closed Jul 30 for a private event. Village Vanguard sets are 8 & 10 PM nightly.
